Data We Collect

Clavic collects the following information:

• Email address: Required for account creation and authentication
• Username: Your chosen display name on the platform
• Photos: Images you upload (facecard and physique photos)
• Ratings: Scores and ratings you give to other users' content
• IP address and device information: Automatically collected by our hosting provider (Supabase) for security and analytics purposes
• Comments: Any comments you post on content
• Profile information: Bio, display name, and profile settings

How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

• Provide and maintain the Clavic service
• Authenticate your account and secure your data
• Display your profile and content to other users
• Send you notifications about ratings and activity
• Improve our service and user experience
• Comply with legal obligations

Data Storage and Backend Provider

Clavic uses Supabase as our backend service provider and data storage solution. Your data is stored securely on Supabase's infrastructure. Supabase may collect IP addresses and device information as part of their standard logging practices for security and operational purposes.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data, posts, ratings, and comments within 30 days, except where we are required to retain data for legal compliance.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time via the "Delete Account" button in your profile settings. When you delete your account, we will:

• Delete your user account
• Delete all posts you have uploaded
• Delete all ratings you have given
• Delete your profile information
• Delete your comments

Note: Ratings you have received from other users may remain anonymous in aggregate statistics, but will no longer be associated with your account.

Cookies and Tracking

Clavic uses minimal cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising trackers. Supabase may use cookies as part of their service infrastructure.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Third-Party Services

Clavic uses Supabase for backend services and data storage. Your data is subject to Supabase's privacy practices. We recommend reviewing Supabase's privacy policy for additional information.
